YTShortDownloads collects minimal data: anonymized usage statistics, submitted video URLs for processing (deleted within 1 hour), and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, retained 30 days).

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect names, emails, payment info, downloaded content, TikTok/YouTube credentials, or any personal identification.

3. Cookies

Session cookies for CSRF protection and localStorage for theme preferences only. No tracking or advertising cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

Cloudflare (security/CDN), YouTube/TikTok (video sources), and ad networks (to keep service free). Each has its own privacy policy.

5. Data Security

HTTPS encryption, CSRF protection, automatic file deletion after 1 hour, HSTS and CSP security headers.
